X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer - 10 Things It Needs To Include
8. The New Nightcrawler
13 years on from his first (and only) appearance in the X-verse, Nightcrawler will be returning to the screen, only like most of the 'new-but-old' mutants with a much younger actor playing him, with a version that'll be the same but different. It's Kodi-Smitt McPhee who'll be playing the mutant this time around, following in the footsteps of Alan Cumming, and while it's ostensibly the same character, there will be a few differences. He'll be closer to the comics, a more fun-loving and happy take on the mutant. Seeing McPhee in action, especially when you consider the powers involved, will be exciting to see, and hopefully the trailer can really show him off and give us an example of how Nightcrawler may well be a bit of a scene-stealer come next May.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
