2. Storm's Facial Scar

Many fans have already called out the baffling decision to have Storm hold an umbrella despite the fact she, you know, can control the weather, but the funeral scene in question also has a small hint about what Storm's just been through.

She's sporting a scar on her face which was presumably sustained during whatever event caused this funeral, most certainly Jean freaking out in Red Hook and killing Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence).

This is also likely a reference to the fact that Storm is typically depicted in the comics as having a scar running across her face. While the movie doesn't want to go quite that drastic and ruin Shipp's appealing visage, the injury is a neat little nod all the same.
