1. It's Mostly Just Boring

The worst thing that can be said about the trailer is that, really, it's just extremely dull. It's adapting a seminal comic book arc, one full of excitement, drama, and emotion, and the two-minute trailer instead offers up something completely flat.

There's nothing in the performances, the cinematography, the CGI, the music, or the story hints to really get excited about or build hype, which is what the first trailer is supposed to do. Maybe it's just a case of bad marketing and the film will work out ok, but it's off to a bad start.
