4. Kitty Pryde Going Back In Time
It would appear, from the trailer at least, that the only character who will be getting sent back in time to convince the past mutants of the danger that they are going to find themselves facing in the future is Wolverine - and that's a damn shame. As hugely popular as Hugh Jackman's Logan may be, he's had his own movie and appeared in every X-Men movie to date - including a needless, albeit somewhat amusing cameo in X-Men: First Class - so for him to be starring in yet another one seems like overkill. More to the point, it was Kitty Pryde who did the time travelling and was the star of the comic book arc and, although changes to movie adaptations are fine and dandy, it would be nice if she had something of a pivotal role in the main plot of the film. In the comics, it is Kitty who travels back in time from 2013 to prevent the 1980 assassination of Senator Kelly at the hands of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants - an absolutely key moment in the story - so for her to have only the minor supporting role that she appears to be getting will be a big shame.
