X-Men: Days Of Future Past - 4 Reasons Why There Should Only Be One Quicksilver

4. Having Two Versions Of The Characters Will Confuse Audiences

Conference Meeting Having more than one actor play the same part in different movies in the same comic book universe but not movie universe released a year apart is as confusing to an audience as it is to read that sentence. Average movie audiences already have enough trouble remembering the names of all the Marvel characters that have bloated our screens, for example a friend of mine referred to Doc Ock as 'the octopus guy'. And now Marvel wants to confuse everyone even more by adding Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch to The Avengers, whilst Bryan Singer has included Quicksilver in his upcoming X Men: Days of Future Past, which is due to be released in July 2014, a whole year earlier than The Avengers It is likely a large portion of the audience will see X Men before, and therefore remember Quicksilver as being an X Men character, not an Avengers character and will be totally confused why they are learning the back story of the very same character once again. This is a distracting and unnecessary problem Marvel have created for themselves.
