X-Men: First Class Sequel Gets July 18th, 2014 Release

The sequel to "X-Men: First Class" has finally got a release date. 20th Century Fox has announced that the untitled follow-up to the 2011 prequel will hit cinemas July 18th, 2014. This date backs up previous reports that the movie would begin shooting in January 2013 to allow star Jennifer Lawrence a break to finish off her shooting on The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire that begins filming this fall. Director Matthew Vaughn will return for the sequel and now has a few months longer to shoot, edit and release his film. He actually has the luxury of more than a year this time rather than the 10 months or so required from him on the last movie.
