1. What Is Mister Sinister's Plan?
The Question: We know that the Essex Corp-branded briefcase during the post-credits scene is a near-concrete confirmation that Mister Sinister will be the X-Men's next villain, but what exactly is his evil scheme?
The Likely Answer: In the comics, Sinister was obsessed with perfecting life through DNA manipulation and experiments upon mutants. He was also deeply interested in Cyclops' genetic line, and created a Jean Grey clone to breed with him which led to the birth of Cable, though this is probably too outlandish for any upcoming X-Men movie.
Instead, the movie Sinister may very well have fairly simple aspirations, to create the "perfect" mutant, hence having his men recover the vials from the Weapon X facility. Whether Sinister shows up first in The Wolverine 3 or the next proper X-Men movie, don't be surprised if he sics some of the other weaponised mutants on Wolverine and company.
