X-Men: Apocalypse - Every Character Ranked From Worst To Best
16. Havok
Alex Summers might as well have walked around the first couple of acts of Apocalypse with a dead meat sign around his neck. He was - rather unfortunately - a hangover from the First Class team that had been so unceremoniously wiped out by Singer in Days Of Future Past, and as soon as he out-ran his usefulness, he was always going to bite the big one.
That point came after Alex (whose backstory between Days Of Future Past and now was mostly excised in favour of him just turning up looking a bit like a yuppie) brought his brother to Professor X. From there, he was doomed to become dramatic motivation for Cyclops, the only victim of an explosion that Quicksilver saved EVERYONE else from.
Admittedly it sort of fits that he joined his fellow dead First Classers, but aside from him actually causing the explosion that killed him, he might as well have just been left out entirely and nobody would have noticed too much.
