Zack Snyder Reacts To All Those Batman V Superman Spoilers

"I want people to see the movie without knowing."

Did you read the so-called authentic spoiler-filled review of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice that appeared on Reddit recently? Did you believe it? Well, shame on you. Zack Snyder, talking to MTV, called the apparently fake review "hilarious", and then went on to have a (valid) go at the nature of spoilers on the internet;
"Of course I hate it when any spoilers come out! You design the movie as a story that evolves as you watch it... If you€™re, as an audience member, exploring these articles, looking for answers to questions that you have, maybe you€™re okay with knowing before you go. It€™s like an individual taste. But like I said, I want people to see the movie without knowing.€
It's more than likely that the Reddit review was full of porky pies, because internet. But on the off-chance that a review like that does pop-up and turns out to be legit, you can't really expect Snyder to turn around and say, "Yep, all true!". He would strive to retain the mystery surrounding the film. The energetic director also discussed the Batmobile, which he has a lot of love for. Comparing it to a racecar, he said "We did a huge chase with it and it drove, which is cool. It€™s got a big Corvette engine in it and it can just run". From what's been seen, it does look pretty badass, so it should be one of the better parts of the film - but it's pretty damn hard to screw up something as naturally cool as the Batmobile. As far as Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) goes, Snyder responded to the criticism that he seemed goofy and Jim-Carrey-Riddler-esque in the film's latest trailer;
"In the trailer, of course he comes across in a very specific way... In the movie, he€™s like a million times more sophisticated than what you get in 30 seconds."
If that's true, why show us the annoying, cheesy, geeky version of him in the trailer at all? It beggars belief that anyone would choose that depiction of Lex in the first place, for any amount of time, as it's just plain wrong. Final judgement will, however, have to be reserved until the film bows in March. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is released on 25 March 2016.
