Zack Snyder’s Justice League: 27 WTF Moments

4. Black Suit Superman Lives Up To The Hype

Fans were desperate to see what Black Suit Superman would look like in action after this iteration of the character was ditched during the Whedon reshoots, and he absolutely lives up to the hype.

He isn't in the film for long, but Black Suit Superman finally feels like the mythic realisation of the Man of Steel Snyder has been pursuing since the beginning.

The sequence where this new and improved Superman takes flight, after hearing the voices of both Jor-El (Russell Crowe) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), is especially superb, set to a remix of Hans Zimmer's "Flight" theme from Man of Steel no less.

By the time he stops Steppenwolf from attacking Cyborg and retorts with, "Not impressed," it's clear just how thoroughly Warner Bros. dropped the ball with their revisions to the character in the 2017 version.
