Zack Snyder's Justice League: 10 Biggest Reveals From The New Trailer

8. Cyborg Reflects On His Past Life

Most of Ray Fisher's scenes as Cyborg ended up on the cutting room floor once Joss Whedon took over the reigns of Justice League, hence why the actor is now embroiled in a war of words with Warner Bros, and the filmmaker about how he was treated on the set of the movie.

Zack Snyder has described the character as the "heart" of the DC Comics adaptation, and everything from Victor Stone's time in high school to the relationship he had with his mother and what he brings to the team will be explored in even greater detail in this HBO Max miniseries.

As for this specific scene, it arguably does more to explore Cyborg's grief at the loss of his old life than anything Whedon delivered back in 2017. Watching some kids in the street playing football, the hero - who is hiding in his apartment - clearly wants nothing more to be "normal" again, and realises here what he's missing out on now he's more machine than man.

Exploring this side of the character promises to be really interesting, and if this is a hint of what's to come, then there's a lot to be excited about.
