Zack Snyder's Justice League: All Characters Ranked Worst To Best

14. The Joker

When fans heard that Jared Leto was returning to the role of The Joker, there was a mixture of skepticism and excitement. However, despite only appearing during the epilogue's Knightmare sequence, Leto's performance is miles ahead of the butchered role the character played in Suicide Squad.

Having the Clown Prince of Crime interact with Ben Affleck's Batman was a delight for fans, as the DCEU had yet to provide an interaction between the two characters. The scene gives fans insight into the pair's complex relationship and history, with Batman referring to the death of Harley Quinn and Joker referencing the death of Robin (which was alluded to in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).

Seeing Jared Leto's Joker return for what could be a final outing as the character was a treat, with the scene ending with a brilliant cackle from the character as an evil Superman approaches to wipe out the Knightmare team.
