Zack Snyder's Justice League: All Characters Ranked Worst To Best
8. Darkseid
Easily the best character addition to the Snyder Cut, Darkseid is absolutely menacing and brilliant in the film. Despite only having a small appearance, the ruler of Apokolips demands the audience's attention every time he is onscreen.
While he is technically not the main villain of the film, Darkseid is shown to be an imposing and powerful figure in both flashbacks and scenes with Steppenwolf, led by a powerful vocal performance from Ray Porter.
Seeing the character lead the charge against Earth's forces in flashbacks was incredible, as the character took down a Green Lantern and a variety of other strong warriors. Despite losing, it took a number of Gods to beat the powerful tyrant.
His obsession with the Anti-Life Equation sets up a potential sequel too, which would give Darkseid more of a role in the DCEU going forward. Considering the Knightmare timeline was set to be adapted in future sequels, Darkseid would have to eventually win the battle to take over Earth. And judging from his presence in the Snyder Cut, that would be a terrifying thought.
