Disney have the luxury of a 5,000 strong portfolio of Marvel characters that they have the means and the resources to pull the trigger on anytime they like, which makes
their acquirement of the cross-genre comic series
Cowboy Ninja Viking, all the more peculiar.
AJ Lieberman and
Riley Rossmo's series carries the synopsis;
A multiple personality disorder patient is trained to be an assassin with three different skill sets and the personalities that come with them tries to bring down the nefarious organization that made him.
Zombieland's
Paul Wernick and
Rhett Reese, who this year have wrote both the
Deadpool and
Venom spin-offs, will scribe. Film is out to writers. Again, I ask - why this one Disney?
