7. Undead Parish
Undead Parish holds a special place simply for how well engrained it in the world of Lordran. It sits at the heart of the first half of the game connects so many places to each other. Many people will recount the sheer surprise they had the first time they descended the elevator and found themselves all the way back in Firelink.
It's a good level in an of itself, with plenty of winding paths and hidden areas. Not to mention many ways to skip through the area the second time through when you are a little more experienced. Again, it is quite a transitory level, with most people not realising just how well made it is.
