10 Best Seasons In Telltale Games History - Ranked
3. Batman: The Enemy Within
The second season of Batman was Telltale's last full season before closing, and it was just plain awesome. The Enemy Within flipped the entire Batman/Joker story on its head and made us walk the line between hero and undercover criminal.
Fun, tense, and shocking: what more could you want from Batman and Telltale Games?
Building upon the formula established created in Season 1, Telltale gave us even more Bruce Wayne and tough decisions to make. It told something of an origin story for Joker, after the seeds had been planted in the previous season, and did a terrific job showing the character's descent into madness.
It also gave a starring role to Bane and Harley Quinn, while making Batman's life difficult with the line between good and bad getting ever blurrier.
The Enemy Within was gritty and surprising, with each episode leaving you wanting more. It's a great Batman/Bruce Wayne story, and should go down as one of the better Joker tales to boot. While we could lament the fact that we'll never get a third season, Telltale wrapped up The Enemy Within's story in a pretty neat package, leaving us with one of the most unique takes on Batman's world to date.
