10 Biggest 2017 Video Games You Should Be Worried About

6. NieR: Automata

Platinum Games

A spin-off to the underrated action RPG NieR, Platinum Games' upcoming sequel Automata is hoping to breathe new life into the franchise by shifting the focus well and truly towards the action side of the series.

But for as promising as the newly minted NieR looks, Platinum Games don't quite have the stellar reputation they once enjoyed. After a slew of half-baked releases and prominent cancellations (RIP Scalebound), the team behind some of the greatest action games of the last decade has become an increasingly scattershot studio.

So while there's a good chance that Automata could be PlayStation's next big action franchise, it's just as likely that the game could go the same way as the team's attempt at revitalising the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - i.e. a complete abomination.
