10 Biggest Snubs From The Game Awards 2017
9. Super Mario Run
Super Mario Run may not be quite as refined as Nintendo's console releases, but it's still leaps and bounds ahead of most mobile games nowadays.
The best thing about Super Mario Run is simply how fun it is. It may not be devilishly complex, or have a story that blows you away, but what it does best is provide the player with hours of replay ability and fun.
Have you ever seen a mobile game with quite the same level of production value? Besides Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (which would have been another fantastic nomination if it wasn't for all of the microtransactions), there hasn't ever really been a game that looks as faithful as Super Mario Run does. It's practically a conversion of the Wii title.
Comparing Super Mario Run to the other nominees almost seems unfair as, despite some complaints of how simple the game is, it really blows most of them out of the water.
