10 Bold Gaming Predictions For 2015

10. More Bloody Zombies

This isn't so much a bold prediction as it as sadly resigned statement of fact. As sure as night follows day, as sure as FIFA 15 will be followed by FIFA 16, as sure as Tim Schaefer will probably disappoint a bunch of people in the coming months, zombies will continue to have an inexplicable hold over our pop culture. And especially our video games, for whatever reason. Do people just like mowing down zombies? Is it more guilt-free to be killing the undead instead of enemies that appear to be living, breathing human beings like the player? Who knows. What's for sure is that the shambling hordes of the living dead will remain a their top spot as video game antagonists numero uno, and that won't change any time soon. Besides a re-release for the HD Resident Evil remake that was originally a GameCube exclusive, DayZ and State of Decay are apparently making the leap from PC to consoles, Dead Island's getting another sequel and they same developers are working on hack-and-slash zombie game Dying Light. Zombie overkill.
