10 Classic Nintendo Games That NEED A Re-Release
3. Metroid Prime Trilogy
Unlike other entries on this list, the Metroid Prime Trilogy bundle, released on the Wii and Wii U, isn't in need of any spit and polish, with each game contained therein already coming close to perfection.
Still, the Trilogy is sorely needed on a console that is soon to host the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4, with the Trilogy potentially introducing gamers to Metroid's most famous sub-series before the release of Retro Studio's next triple-A title.
Unlike other Wii/Wii U ports like Twilight Princess, the Trilogy bundle is quite an expensive Wii title, and while it enjoyed a (far cheaper) second lease of life on the Wii U, it is still relatively inaccessible given the poor sales figures of that console.
With Metroid Prime 4's development having been re-started by January of 2019 after some early issues, Metroid fans may still have to wait a while before seeing the follow-up to 2007's Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
The re-release of the original Trilogy would be the perfect way to help hype up the series before its forthcoming release, while appeasing fans of the franchise who have been itching for Metroid Prime 4 since it was first announced way back in 2017.
