10 Companies Who Made Their Name With Shoddy Licensed Games
1. Titus Software - Superman 64
446041For all of the shoddy games that have been developed or published by those that have gone before on this list, few manage to come close to matching up to the abominations that came from Titus.
Leaving out their most infamous abomination for now, Titus were responsible for publishing the likes of the Xena and Hercules games, both based on their related TV series' alongside titles based on the Top Gun, Blues Brothers 2000 and RoboCop films.
Incidentally, the RoboCop game, which was an utterly forgettable FPS title that practically nobody remembers, was the last title developed by the studio. They declared bankruptcy in 2005, leaving a legacy of pure awfulness that is unlikely to ever be topped.
The Worst Game - Every other game released by Titus looks like it came straight from the mind if Miyamoto himself when compared to Superman 64. Often regarded as the worst game ever made, it's an experience that utterly fails to capture anything that makes Superman interesting. Supes has practically all of the powers in the world at his disposal, but here they are used to fly through rings over and over again until the player has died enough inside to finally stop hoping something interesting might eventually happen.
