Sequel to one of the finest turn-based strategy games of all time, XCOM's second full instalment (Enemy Within was a substantial add-on for the 2012 original) is arriving rather soon on the 5th of February, but as yet it's limited to a PC release. Why? Who knows, but it's probably down to developers FireAxis favouring the ease of use that comes with not having to port games across onto console architecture. That said, if X2 sells anywhere near as well as its predecessors, fingers crossed PS4 and Xbox One owners get in on the action too. The game is set to expand the customisation of your soldiers alongside the aliens you'll be tackling, ensuring more of the same beastie-blasting fun that endeared it so much to so many. Seriously, if you're anything of a fan of taking your time and planning out an offensive against all odds, XCOM's permadeath and sci-fi gameplay-cocktail packs quite the punch.
