7. Ermac Pulls Guts From An Opponent’s Mouth

Ermac's is a classic example of creation through fan/developer interaction. He originally started as a glitch in the original Mortal Kombat (Ermac is short for Error Macro). Today, he's a full fledged character - the fusion of several Outworld souls and a master of telekinesis.

In Ermac's Fatality, he rips out his opponent's guts through his mouth, before squeezing them into a ball and splattering them on the ground. In the background, you can still see Ermac's victim floating midair, with his intestines dangling from his mouth.
