10 Goriest Video Game Weapons - Ranked

9. Turok 2’s Cerebral Bore

The Turok series was a mainstay of the early Nintendo 64’s lineup, thanks to its early full 3D FPS action and meaty combat as the titular hero slaughtered his way through levels full of dinosaurs and dinosaur-like enemies. It was Turok 2: Seeds of Evil that gave the series its high point in the death machine category.

The cereal bore is a weapon that fires an autonomous homing drill that wings its sweet way to the enemy’s cranium and then drills a hole in it. The combination of high-tech ballistic computing and power tool rawness makes for a gloriously satisfying way to kill someone, especially when you close in after a headshot to witness the enemy’s thrashing, gore-spraying demise.

Laugh at their dance of death, laugh as their brains leak out of their newly-bored orifice, for that is all we have in this world of horror.
