8. God Mode - Doom
How It's Activated: Simply type iddqd.
What It Does: This will activate God Mode, which as we all know, means that your health is permanently maxed out at 100%, and no enemy with no amount of force is able to change that. Though the term God Mode might seem a little grandiose given the relative simplicity and restrictiveness of the cheat, it at least allows you to beast through the game when the going gets too tough (as we likely
all found out when we were kids). Doom was the game that kick-started the God Mode trend, and soon enough it began appearing in just about every FPS game. It's a classic cheat because it's so pervasive and it so gets at the ultimate thing every gamer wants - to always win and never lose.
