Discovering secrets in games can be a lot of fun, and nothing beats the satisfaction of coming across a hidden easter egg or area on your own.

However, you may not realize that some secrets will not just stay around and wait for you to find them. You actually have only one slim chance of stumbling upon them, and if you miss it, they will be gone forever.

Yes, some secret areas are so rare and well-hidden that you can only see them once in your playthrough. They either appear at a specific moment in the game and never again, or their spawn rate is so small that it's statistically improbable to even see them once.

In either case, this obviously makes these secrets quite exclusive, adding to their mysterious allure and severely limiting the number of people who have seen them.

If you want to count yourself among those lucky individuals who have found these secret areas, you can follow this list for useful tips. It may still not guarantee you'll see them, but if you do, you're in for one thrilling discovery.

20. Evelyn's Booth - Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City is fully yours to explore, but some of the quest locations in the game become inaccessible after you finish your business there. One of these locales is the dollhouse called Clouds that you visit to find more information about Evelyn Parker’s mysterious disappearance.

The club management (and the mission objectives) will want you to stay on course and not stray from the designated path, but some exploration is warranted, as there is one hidden room that you can visit here for a special reward that you won’t be able to normally access afterwards.

Given that Clouds is Evelyn’s former workplace, you can actually find the booth where she used to work inside the club. The booth features some of Evelyn’s personal belongings, including a unique katana called the Cocktail Stick.

You only get to access Clouds during one of the main story missions. After the gig is done, Clouds becomes inaccessible, and even if you find a way inside the club with exploits, the entire facility will be empty.

The extra time finding and exploring Evelyn’s room only takes a couple of minutes, and you get to walk away with an awesome-looking weapon, so don’t miss it.
