5. Destiny
Finally, the much anticipated game, Destiny. This is a game that we have very high expectations of, mainly because its from the world famous Bungie studios, creators of Halo, and the publisher that brought us Call Of Duty. This is yet another very strong trailer having most of the elements that a good trailer should have such as stunning visuals, gripping narration, and enticing music.
Even with the slight problem of the story and setting I cant deny the fact that this trailer is brilliant. Many things are on point, the narrative conveys the story well although its not as good as COD or The Order but it is still exceptional.
The music is on par with The Order and the character models slightly better than the ones in The Order, but the thing that made Destiny stand out the most is its unique and immersive gameplay which has been shown. Just by watching this trailer you can see that the world is massive and boasts many gameplay features.
The story doesn't jump out because its far too similar to things that have been done before. Destiny reminds me of Resistance: Fall of Man, in the sense that Hale is the only survivor and so are the people of Earth in Destiny, plus they both end up gaining powers and fighting aliens.As a bonus here is a video in which the team including studio co-founder and project director Jason Jones talks about its vision, and the creative process behind Destiny:
