On any other setting, though, you and Pliskin nobly dispatch countless enemies together, in what is arguably one of the most memorable and enjoyable parts of the game. That said, it only made all the other bits, where we don't get to hang out with our favourite grizzled veteran, slightly less fun in comparison.
