10 Hidden Ways Video Games Punished You For BREAKING The Rules
5. Adios, Leon! - Resident Evil 4
In Resident Evil 4 you have to take on an entire village of mutated monsters to rescue the president's daughter, so you can't really afford to make even more enemies.
In fact, the game will harshly remind you to keep your allies close if you decide to mess with one of them.
One of the iconic moments in Resident Evil 4 is the defense section where you have to fend off an army of mutants breaking into the decrepit house you're hiding in.
The fight is tough, but luckily, you meet the mysterious Luis there, who aids you during the defense... provided you don't piss him off.
Although Luis might act cool, like any other human, he is quick to lose his cool when someone is actively shooting at him. If instead of aiming at your enemies, you keep firing at Luis, the man will eventually break and cue in a cutscene where he bids you farewell and proceeds to shoot back, killing you on the spot.
Well, you can't be mad at him. He who fights by "accidental" stray bullets is bound to die by them.
