10 Hotly Anticipated RPGs That'll Blow You Away In 2016

7. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - PS4, Xbox One, PC

The second cyberpunk RPG on this list, Mankind Divided looks set to continue down the prestigious path that Deus Ex: Human Revolution set off on. You reprise the role of Adam Jensen, wearing the same gold-tinted sunbed goggles but with more abilities and augmentations; among them a nano-blade that can pin enemies to walls (always fun), an 'Icarus Dash' which teleports you a short distance in any given direction (also fun), and a taser capable of zapping several people simultaneously. The plot is a slightly contentious issue. Remember that big decision you had to make at the end of Human Revolution when you got to choose the fate of mankind? Well, that doesn't matter any more, not unless you picked the ending in which Jensen reveals to the world that augmentations were responsible for a major global catastrophe - because that's the backstory to Mankind Divided. Jensen's questionable decision causes the world to become a retrograde mess of augmented people hating non-augmented people and vice-versa. Well done, Jensen! You've warped society back to the pre-60s. Taking place in a futuristic open-world Prague, Mankind Divided pits Jensen against terrorist groups as well as the Illuminati. As with past games in the series, you'll have a choice about whether you want to approach Mankind Divided with all guns a' blazin', stealth, or a mixture of both. The devs have also confirmed that you'll technically be able to complete the game without killing anyone; a technicality that won't apply to 99% of us bloodthirsty gamers out there, but nonetheless a series tradition that fans will be happy to see upheld.
