1. Cabela's
Who decided that it was a good idea to have a hunting video game? Even moreover, who actually buys this crap enough for them to CONTINUE cranking out sequels? I can understand having a game like Grand Theft Auto or Saint's Row - it's illegal to murder, steal, etc. I can understand having a game like Call of Duty or Battlefield - real war isn't anything like the games. But to sit behind a controller and shoot animals? I don't get that. Hunting is and always will be legal, and is probably a lot more productive than pretending. While I'm not an enormous supporter of hunting, I would get a hell of a lot more excitement out of pegging a deer in real life than facing a bear in a game. Never have I met anybody who has ever played the Cabela's games, and I can go so far to say that I have never even seen somebody buy one. It is one of those games that just makes absolutely no sense to me. I will forever have a bitter feeling towards the entire hunting idea, but especially towards Cabela's video games. There's nothing appealing about fishing for bass with an Xbox controller. So there you have it. A quick list of 10 games that everybody seems to know, but that should really be hated. I'm sure some of my entries - primarily Halo and Pokémon - are going to get some defense. What do you think? Any games you think are too popular for their own good? Let us know in the comments.
