10 Iconic Nintendo Games You Must Replay

1. The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past

A Link To The Past
Nintendo

A Link to the Past is probably the best Zelda title of all time. Debatable I know, but when you really boil everything down, it has to be. A Link to the Past gave us the Hookshot, Pieces of Heart and even the Master Sword for the very first time.

The real reason for its endless replay value is the sheer length of the story itself. The first time I played this game, I roared through the first set of dungeons, thinking I was well on my way to challenging the speed run record but Agahnim sends you to the Dark World and there's WAY more to do.

This game is always featured on lists of 'Games You Must Complete Before You Die' and yet I feel it would be better placed on a rundown of which titles 'You Must Complete Numerous Times Before You're 30'. To make it even easier to play over and over, A Link to the Past was re-released as part of the Four Swords Adventures bundle, which allows you to play through on a GameBoy Advance rather than forking out for a working SNES. It's like they want you to sink a few weeks' worth of hours into it all over again...

Replay Highlight: The Chris Houlihan Room, Pink Bunny Link, trying to pronounce Sahasrahla, drawing the Master Sword for the first time ever... just everything, okay?
