Robots in video games come in all shapes and sizes. Most of the time, they are simple enemies that the player has to bash their way through turning probably Trillions of dollars worth of equipment into tiny pieces of crap. But sometimes the in video games they are not only extremely durable but also terrifyingly intelligent and skilled enough to cause quite the hassle for the player.

This description fits best with the hyper-intelligent and ironically sarcastic GLaDOS from the amazing puzzle chamber solving game Portal and the silent world-destroying metal hedgehog Metal Sonic who debuted in Sonic the Hedgehog CD.

GLaDOS is incredibly intelligent and ruthless, able to control hundreds of random puzzle rooms and an endless army of singing turrets. Her powers are only limited by her imagination, if she ever got control over anything like the internet she could turn every machine on Earth into a weapon of human suffering. And ideally, that would include Metal Sonic, who is one of Sonic the Hedgehogs' greatest foes.

If these two ever teamed up they would become quite the fearsome pair. With GLaDOS's complete disregard for human life and Metal Sonic's impressive arsenal of destructive weapons, they could create a world free of those pesky flesh bags known as humanity that are constantly trying to rule over their mechanical constructs.
