2. Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins) And Aloy (Horizon Zero Dawn)
Assassin's Creed Origins and Horizon Zero Dawn released in the same year and helped breathe new life into the open-world genre. Not only through fun gameplay and interesting locations but also through the amazing characters of the Medjay called Bayek of Siwa and the Nora Seeker known simply as Aloy.
Each is extremely skilled with a spear in hand and has their own way of dispatching humans and animals alike. This would be an amazing team-up not only for the fighting prowess these characters hold but also for the stories they have lived through and the completely different worlds they grew up in.
Yet despite coming from completely opposite sides of the human timeline, one at its beginning and another at its end, they share a lot of the same tragic life stories. Each was shunned by their people and lost those closest to them because of humanity's greed.
Each also is very skilled in seeing what's beyond their sight with Aloy's Focus and Bayek's pet eagle Senu they could see things all around them. Not to mention both are very good at being stealthy inside any surroundings whether a wide desert or a dense forest.
These two would be true paragons of justice and goodness and would be a perfect team for shaping a new world of humans to focus on being good and fair rather than being selfish and cruel.
