10. Most Of The Game - H.A.W.X.

Generally I can let a game off if it has one short, relatively painless escort mission, and as fun as Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. is, it contains more escort missions than I can remember. On their own, no single mission in this game is too frustrating, but taking up so much of the game as they do, they severely reduce the fun and make this otherwise entertaining shooter an absolute chore to get through. The only advice I can give is to ensure that you remain within the enemy targeting circle, as this will allow you to draw fire away from the aircraft you have to escort, which too often doesn't seem to be equipped with its own array of weapons. The only remotely memorable escort mission in the game is when you have to protect Air Force One, but that's really only because of the famed craft itself, whereas the rest of the mission is a rehash of everything we've seen before. Thankfully Ubisoft listened to the complaints, and H.A.W.X. 2 doesn't feature anywhere near as many escort missions.
