10 Injustice Super Moves Taken Straight From The Comics

Superman: Sacrifice is a pretty hardcore comic - containing one of the most intense fights between Superman and Wonder Woman to take place in the main DC universe. As such, it makes sense that this fight appears to have been used for the template for Superman's violent looking finisher in Injustice 2.

While the initial punch itself is iconic and used continually - so well-known that wrestler Roman Reigns uses it as his own finishing move - the punches in the air and back to Earth that Superman also does in this scene are eerily similar to those in the comic, containing the same brutal combo that makes the finisher feel so satisfying. There's a very real chance that this is completely coincidental, but the closeness of the two fights is still interesting at the very least.

It's nothing complex, sure - but it's effective, all the same.
