10 Insulting Video Game Easter Eggs You Shouldn't Find

High On Life is a game that doesn't have much respect for itself, other video games, or, most evidently, the player. Aside from the dozens of different dialogue lines written to make fun of you, it also features plenty of secrets and easter eggs that make fun of you for finding them.

The most insulting of them all is the easter egg in the fake Doom clone at the start of the game. While your character (and by extension you) is trying to complete the game, you can come across a hidden area in the vents on the other side of a pool of acid.

Getting there is tricky but totally possible, and whereas in most other games this would mean there's going to be some great secret on the other side, in High On Life the easter egg is a blood-written "Fuck You."

However, that's not even the most insulting part. That one would have to be the fact that as soon as you find the message, the entrance to the vent disappears, trapping you inside and forcing you to reset the whole level.

Well, that's about as much respect as you can expect from a game with guns that are given the ability to talk just so they can make fun of you.
