So you might be a little surprised to see Lisa's name on this list, and to be clear it's not because I hate the Resident Evil 1 Remake Boss, it's actually just because her existence is so utterly tragic that she deserves to be laid to rest.

To better explain, let's take a refresher on how she came to be.

The daughter of the architect who built the secret lab underneath the Spencer Mansion, her father was killed as soon as it was finished to protect Umbrella's dark secrets.

However the company didn't stop there and abducted her mother and Lisa to be experimented on. Her mother died shortly after but Lisa had the blessing and curse to survive thanks to one of the experiments giving her unbelievable regenerative capabilities.

Over 30 years later Umbrella had gotten all the could from her and decided to try and kill her, and I say try because thanks to the regeneration it was almost impossible. So when the player finally encounters her and watches her take the skull of her dead mother before jumping off into the unknown, you can almost be sure that she isn't really dead, which when you consider her horrible existence and abuse, is actually really upsetting.
