10 Last-Gen Video Games That Need To Be Remastered

The Dark Souls franchise has become so popular that Bandai Namco saw fit to go through the pains of porting it to the Nintendo Switch. An unexpected success story which must have made military FPS factories like Activision Blizzard raise an eyebrow, some series fans aren't even aware that Souls games actually got their start way back in 2009 with the release of Demon's Souls.

An ambitious, risky undertaking, Demon's Souls was a creative title which came out during a period in which very little experimentation was going on in the triple-A space. Unfortunately, the game's potential was never fully realized, and the series was abandoned in favor of what would become the titanic Dark Souls trilogy.

Now that the masses are clamoring for a new Souls release, it would be a great time to unveil a remastered version of the game that started it all. It may seem slightly antiquated given it's age, but a Demon's Souls remaster would certainly be celebrated across all corners of the internet.
