10 Most Laughable Versions Of Famous Actors In Video Games
2. Sylvester Stallone - Rambo: The Video Game
The last few days I've spent a few hours playing the new Rambo video game, more out of morbid curiosity than anything, and as critics have rightly made clear, it's quite possible one of the worst video games ever adapted from a movie. It completely misses the point of the first film, First Blood, by having Rambo slaughter 150 people in the opening 10 minutes of the game, when in the first film, he only kills one person. Though not quite as awful as the gameplay, it doesn't help that the visual representation of Sylvester Stallone is truly terrible. Through the PS2-era cut-scenes, we get to see Sly running around looking bada**, but the actor's face is all wrong: he wears this permanently slanted facial expression that makes him look more like a stroke victim than a ruthless war veteran. Even ignoring the hilariously mumbly Stallone sound-alike and bottom-tier gameplay, seeing this hollow non-approximation of John Rambo is at the same time painful and unintentionally hilarious to behold.
