10 LEGO Video Games That Need To Happen

2. Ghostbusters

The series may be getting an overhaul when it returns to theatres next year, but that doesn't mean the first two films are being erased from history. The ghostbusting efforts of Venkman, Ray, Egon and Winston will continue to be shared, quoted and cherished for generations to come whether the newest film succeeds or fails. Lego has been offering the Ecto-1 and the team in brick form for a while now in honour of the first film's 30th anniversary and it wouldn't be surprising to see more sets get rolled out down the line as the newest film gets closer to release. Giving fans a game next year that allows them to play through the events of the first films while finding a clever way to bridge the gap in including the reboot would be a great way for TT Games to capitalize on the franchise's popularity. Not only would it be a well-timed strategic move to release it near the new film, but it'd go a long way to giving players the best of both worlds in bringing the old and new together for one, big Stay Puft Marshmallow Man-sized adventure.
