In a perfect world, a Lego Back to the Future game would be arriving this year, with 2015 both marking the 30th anniversary of the original film and being an important year in the franchise's story. In that perfect world, hoverboards and flying cars would be a societal norm by now, too, but apparently the waiting game must continue. Fortunately, for fans of the series, Lego has made available a set that includes Marty, Doc Brown, the DeLorean and -- not to be forgotten -- Marty's skateboard. Like Ghostbusters, it's a single set, but it doesn't preclude the company from potentially rolling out more should fans demand it. Considering how beloved the Back to the Future trilogy is, a game giving fans the opportunity to mess around in Hill Valley hub worlds set in 1955, 1985 and 2015 and join Doc and Marty in their adventures through time is one that very few are likely to rally against. The series is endearing, charming and iconic and the mere notion of being able to punch Biff into a bunch of smaller pieces with George McFly should be enough to warm even the most cynical player to the idea.
