10 Locations Future Assassin's Creed Games Need To Visit

2. Scandinavia

The extremely fun sailing aspect of AC4 is something that needs to be utilised in another game. What better period in time to feature boatloads of sailors than the time of the Vikings? Scandinavia between the eighth and eleventh centuries was a hotbed of Viking activity. They have been featured many times in pop culture and would allow for some very interesting stories featuring the most famous Vikings in history. Eric The Red and his son Leif Eriksson are the most recognisable names, especially with Eriksson being credited with sailing to the Americas hundreds of years before Christopher Columbus. There is also a vast wilderness and assortment of wildlife native to the area to where a hunting feature could be incorporated as much as it was in AC3. One of the best parts about that game was how you could just go into the wilderness for hours and hunt various animals, increasing your wealth and allowing you to upgrade much quicker in many areas. Between the setting in Scandinavia and the culture of the Vikings, there is a great Assassin's Creed game just waiting to be made.
