10 Missable Video Game Side Quests That You NEED To Do
Did you know you can own a cat in Cyberpunk 2077?
In the era of objective markers and hints, most video games make it really easy to keep track of every single quest and mission they have to offer.
However, this doesn't mean there aren't any quests you can't miss. In fact, some of the most unique quests may be easily missed if you're not careful!
Sometimes, a quest can be pretty well hidden, either intentionally or not, causing most players to completely look past it. This is already pretty disappointing as is, but what can hurt even more is when the quest offers something most other missions in the game don't.
From manhunts started at forbidden prison cells to alternative versions of regular quests that you can only access by performing specific actions, these quests are not something you stumble upon unless you're really looking for them.
The quests can be hard to find, but the search is worth the effort, as they offer you a unique experience. They are definitely worth trying, so if you're curious to find out what sort of fun content might have slipped past your radar while playing your favorite game, the following list will have all the answers you need!
10. Go Rustling With Uncle - Red Dead Redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2's gang is a colorful bunch, each with a unique personality, relations, and side activities that Arthur can participate in to get to know them better.
Most of these companion activities are hard to miss. As long as you visit the camp regularly and talk with each person, sooner or later they'll invite you to hang out.
The only exception to this rule is Uncle, whose special side mission happens at such specific time frames that most people don't even know it exists.
Unlike most companion hangouts, the activity with Uncle is the only one that is triggered during night hours. The player has to approach the old drunk between midnight and three in the morning in chapter 4, or else they will not be able to do his side quest.
Since this is the only exception and the timeframe is somewhat short (not to mention inconvenient), most players tend to miss it, unless they constantly check the camp.
It is a shame, though, as the mission is a lot of fun, with branching paths dealing with the consequences of Uncle's cattle rustling and plenty of the old man's classic lumbago-fueled tomfoolery.
