4. Not Showering In Metal Gear Solid V Makes You Smell

Though it was cool to build your own army of soldiers and create a home in Mother Base over the course of Metal Gear Solid V, it's unlikely that many people actually spent much time hanging out there when they weren't stealthing their way through enemy encampments and saving child soldiers from certain death.

If you don't call in regularly though - and jump in the shower while you're there - Big Boss will actually start to smell. It turns out that being out in boiling temperatures and tearing goons apart with your bare hands all day isn't the most hygienic pursuit, and when you return to Mother Base your own men won't be afraid to tell you just how much you stink.

Sometimes this will get so bad that the game will even tell you in a cutscene, but for the most part you'll only notice when soldiers have to block their nose while saluting you.

Like every detail in Metal Gear Solid V, this is admittedly a neat little inclusion, but it didn't stop players from thinking that the time could have been better spent, you know, actually finishing the game.
