4. The Pole Vault
The placement of bridges has always been a literal obstacle in our Animal Crossing towns. While New Leaf granted you the power to build more wherever you desired, it was a long-winded process.
In New Horizons, however, you will be able to craft a pole vault early on in your game! We don't yet know for sure what you will need to make this, but based on visuals it appears to be fairly simple to craft. The pole vault will allow you to jump across rivers at any point on your island!
So, next time you see that fish you've been wanting to catch across the stream from you, waist no time by jumping across to the correct side, and take it by surprise!
