10 Most Disappointing Video Game Villains
4. Devin Weston - Grand Theft Auto V
Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series has never leaned too heavily on its villains. After all, some of the most colorful villains in the series are its protagonists. It's hard to top Vice City's Tommy Vercetti - a Ray Liotta-voiced psychopath, but it's equally as hard to get more forgettable than GTA V's Devin Weston.
As a character, Weston is about as white-bread as his name. Unlike the gangsters and dirty cops who make up most of the GTA cast, Weston is basically just your average rich guy. A venture capitalist with his hand in everything from the beer industry to insurance fraud, Weston is a cowardly opportunist who you immediately know is going to betray you.
After trying to steal everything from the three protagonists, Weston is easily kidnapped and stuffed into the trunk of a car. He begs for his life with the promise of the only thing he has: Money. A hollow promise since, like every GTA game, you probably have more money that you could ever know how to spend by the game's end.
The second you lock him back in the trunk and push the car off a cliff, you've already forgotten this guy ever existed.
