10 Most Frustrating Moments in Gaming

9. Losing Lydia, Skyrim (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)

Lydia will be one of the first companions you€™re paired with in Skyrim, right after you complete the main story quest Dragon Rising. Without a doubt she comes in handy and you€™ll most likely unload all of your heavy and most valuable goods on her for safe keeping immediately (including your Dragon Bone and Scales, which at this point in the game, you€™ll probably still be enough of a noob to consider extremely valuable). She€™s one of Skyrim€™s most popular companions but she has an amazing knack for going completely AWOL from time to time if you do anything other than walk. Everywhere. As a result, the internet is flooded with forum posts entitled €˜Where has Lydia gone€™ or €˜Lydia has disappeared€™. The problem is, she seems to get stuck when you fast travel, meaning she could effectively be anywhere in the whole of Skyrim. Sometimes she€™ll come back; with me she remains lost. She€™s probably living out in the wilderness somewhere surviving on Mudcrab. This can happen with any companion, but is a more regular occurrence with Lydia for some reason. And it isn€™t just a frustrating moment; it€™s an insidious, long term annoyance that€™ll bother you every time you turn the game on. Unless you€™re this guy: http://youtu.be/uIyNwUvVFXM
