10 Most Infuriating Cards In Magic: The Gathering

9. Rule Of Law

Have you ever had one of those turns where everything comes together and you play out your entire hand? Maybe it’s even better than that and you’re able to draw almost your entire deck, playing out the best parts of it with something like Omniscience and working your way to a strategic victory. Or maybe it’s simpler that that, perhaps you just know that on your turn you’ll play card A followed by card B and it’ll trigger an effect which can help you pull back when your life total isn’t looking so great.

Regardless of which of those situations you’re in, prepare to say goodbye to that luxury. Rule of Law is a card that for only 3 mana stops you playing spells. Oh, don’t get me wrong, you can play ’a’ spell, but not multiple. Every turn, everybody at the table has to choose what the most useful thing to do is as everyone looks at one another hoping that the other players have some sort of enchantment removal.
