10 Most Likely DLC Characters For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Masahiro Sakurai famously used the exact same video format to reveal both King K. Rool and Banjo-Kazooie months apart from one another. Could he possibly do it a third time to reveal another highly-demanded character in Dixie Kong?

Absolutely, yes.

You can just see it now - the suspenseful opening, which of course leads into Donkey Kong yawning, then we pan out to see Diddy Kong, King K. Rool, and Banjo-Kazooie all together in DK's Tree House. A strong gust wakes the crew up, and they huddle towards the window to see her outline. The shadowy figure reveals themselves to be...Isabelle. Or Inkling. Or Jigglypuff. This part is still up in the air.

Anyway, from above we see the twirling girl in pink descend from above, crushing the pretender under her feet. Man, that'd be awesome...

Dixie Kong would likely have a similar moveset to her comrade, Diddy Kong, but with noteworthy differences - to start, she would likely turn her massive pigtail into both a weapon and a means of achieving freaky-good horizontal recovery. Also, in lieu of a Peanut Popgun, perhaps she could find a means of weaponising her bubble gum.

So long as they don't disqualify her due to the addition of King K. Rool, perhaps Sakurai can finally add Dixie, a character he's wanted in since Brawl, to the fray.
